How many of you are taking the time to add in proper analytics on your app projects? I am seeing more and more companies developing beautiful apps, but they put little effort into analytics. Half the battle is post launch and you need to be making decisions based upon data. Some cool platforms Mixpanel, Appsflyer to name a few allow you to deep analytic dives on the user bases to see what they want, where they fall off all leading to a much better experience for the users and growth for your app. Let me know if you have any questions on what analytics matter the most. #mobileappdevelopment #analytics #appgrowth

Last week was Andreessen Horowitz CSX demo day and my last week living in London (after four months). To celebrate an awesome 10 weeks, here's a recap of some of my favorite lessons: Achieving PMF is like holding a winning hand. - Jason Rosenthal (a16z) Design your product for the dinner table. - Ben Rubin (HNT, Towns) Web3 is the hardest place to be an entrepreneur. - Mo Shaikh (Aptos Labs) Build a great community by genuinely giving a fuck. - Jing Wang (Optimism Foundation) Network tokens are the most interesting token type - Eddy Lazzarin (a16z) Find people who love what you are doing - Hilmar Veigar (CCP Games) More cryptography is better - Valeria Nikolaenko (a16z) The new Five Forces: the source of competitive advantage has changed. - Scott Kominers (a16z) Regulation should reflect democratic values. - Brian and Michele (a16z) A brand is a collection of beliefs people have about your company. - Steven Ebert Fundraising is answering questions about a business. - Arianna Simpson (a16z) All decisions in the beginning compound more than you think. - Alex Blania (Worldcoin) View life as art and paint pictures. - Chris Lyons (a16z) Think smaller to go bigger. - Shane Mac (XMTP) Communities are the most powerful force. - Chris Dixon (a16z) Read the rest here: https://lnkd.in/g2JZqk-6

🆕 💥 BIG UPDATE — getting new backers, releasing AIstats 2.0, and hiring for many positions Me and Eugene Sertukov have been hands down building for many months and are excited to share a sneak peek into where AIstats is going. We’ve analyzed 12M match scenarios and developed the most complete ecosystem of football metrics used by regular football fans. In ~1 week, we will release AIstats 2.0, our vision of the ideal modern livescore app. It's designed for speed and clarity, providing fast and clear match insights with predictive power. Users will be able to quickly scan and understand matches and their potential outcomes, all powered by our comprehensive historical data analysis. We are already supported by a bunch of cool folks: FAANG top managers (including Mariusz Gąsiewski from Google — one of the top mobile experts in CEE), product experts (including Alexander Pavlov from BDC Consulting) and repeat founders (including Alexander Nevedovsky from FundraisingHackers.com). They are all excited about our mission to democratize the average football fan (and later other sports) experience with AI. Also, we are grateful to Veronika Lindorenko for arranging the Ū Hub | Startup Community in Poland events where I met met Eugene and joined AIstats. We’re hiring (remotely!) across the board, so please recommend cool folks we should chat with: 1️⃣ Head of UA, with at least 3 years of experience in traffic acquisition for subscription-based apps, particularly with Meta and Google Ads, and managing budgets over $100,000 monthly. 2️⃣ Senior UI/UX Designer, with at least 3 years of experience in mobile app design, with familiarity in the livescore and betting sectors being a notable advantage. 3️⃣ ASO Manager, with at least 2 years of experience and a strong understanding of subscription app markets. Passion for football will be a great advantage. 4️⃣ Business/System Analyst, with at least 2 years of experience in structuring functional requirements of data-oriented software products. A good understanding of the football and betting industry will be an advantage. 5️⃣ Fractional CTO, an experienced individual who understands how to manage high-load systems, build effective data infrastructure, and has experience in assembling tech teams. We offer competitive comp and equity — with a flexible split. To apply, connect with Alexey Vorobey on LinkedIn or message me on Telegram (@avarab) with the link to the resume/profile and mention why you’re excited about the AI x football intersection. 🙏 Max repost, please 🙏

How does Chronosphere achieve an actual uptime of 99.99%+? By using Chronosphere of course! In our latest blog post, Chronosphere’s May Lippert shows how she leveraged PromQL to craft actionable alerts tailored to our own environment and needs based on years of on-call cycles. Follow the step-by-step approach as she peeled back the layers of complexity, utilizing tools like Chronosphere's Query Builder and PromLens to debug and fine-tune her PromQL queries. Congrats to Ilya Sutskever and Daniel Levy with successful seed. Really well done! https://lnkd.in/d8SpyiD3 Building on top of my yesterday's thoughts about the perception of #AI SaaS being over-saturated, I have a question to the broader community. Not trying to be sarcastic. What is the thinking logic, justifying a $1bn seed at $5bn valuation? It never takes $1bn to ship an #MVP of a product, even when you are launching a shuttle in the space. Any MVP can be sliced into a smaller first prototype. Fine, a counterargument to be made is "the total TAM is so huge, hence there is just a need to run faster - regardless of the efficiency of these investments. The company that gets to be the first to capture the opportunity would become a next $1Tn+ business; and it takes a hundred/hundreds of millions to train the models". Understand. But I don't know any business that was built in the abundance; instead - all big stories started off from scarcity, and being very #agile and calculated in every investment they made. I'm really curios - especially to deeptech #VC friends - what is the thinking logic behind, and what are the expected returns? David Peterson Saagar Bhavsar Konstantin Vinogradov

I'm thrilled and immensely proud to share that Jackpocket is now officially part of the DraftKings Inc. family. The entrepreneurial journey is often seen as glamorous, but in reality, it's a challenging path filled with anxiety and moments of solitude. When I encounter new entrepreneurs confidently presenting their impressive progress, I often take a moment to ask about their mental well-being. This journey isn't for everyone, but the key to navigating it successfully is surrounding yourself with incredible people. Attributes like creativity, persistence, a thirst for knowledge, and a sense of ownership among team members are crucial for success. However, what I've truly learned is that having genuinely good people to work with is the most significant factor. I owe this achievement to our loyal, dedicated, and kindhearted team who overcame seemingly insurmountable obstacles to make this happen. This also includes our amazing investors, external vendors and ever-supportive board of directors. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your commitment to this audacious vision. In building our team, we've always prioritized setting egos aside, recognizing that we're all just individuals navigating the complexities of life. While we spend much of our adult lives immersed in our careers, I can honestly say that I've forged some of the strongest, lifelong friendships through Jackpocket. My high school principal used to say, “Today is the first day of the rest of your life,” a phrase that once seemed corny but now resonates deeply. Over the past months, I've had the pleasure of getting to know the incredible team at DraftKings, and I’ve never been more excited about Jackpocket’s future and the opportunity to join a powerhouse like DraftKings. I've come to truly admire their leader, Jason Robins, and I’m eager to learn from him and his team and embark on this journey together. The joke ends here: I guess it takes 11 years to create an “overnight success.” Here’s to the next decade of innovation, teamwork, and overcoming the unfeasible. Today, we’re sharing an inside look at ro.OS – the Ro Operating System. To understand this technology, it helps to understand why we built it. https://ro.co/os/ The most inconvenient truth in healthcare is that there are too many people who need care and too few to provide it. As a result, today, high-quality care is a hand-made luxury good. The only way to change that, so that tens of millions not tens of thousands get high-quality care, is through technology. From the printing press to the automobile to the iPhone, technology is how we’ve turned luxuries into commodities. The healthcare system is obsessed with quality but is not equally obsessed with how to scale that quality. Scaling high-quality care, especially to the extent required, makes some uncomfortable. Doing so, while meeting or exceeding the bar for quality and for provider satisfaction, seems impossible. It is possible. We must believe that to be the case. It will take innovation. This possibility is what Ro’s team has spent years laser focused on. We challenged ourselves to build technology that makes it easier for patients to get the most effective healthcare. That technology is ro.OS – which has already helped millions of patients achieve their goals and we’re just getting started. Learn more about ro.OS from my co-founder Saman Rahmanian. https://lnkd.in/eUSzAqBQ

Chasing the perfect Software QA plan is WRECKING your speed—and your product. Unfolding (thanks, Rob Snyder, for introducing me to the concept!) is the idea that things gradually take shape over time, and you make adjustments along the way. Instead of trying to plan every detail upfront, unfolding allows room for flexibility, learning, and growth as you progress. The key is to keep moving forward, knowing that your path will become clearer as you take steps and respond to new information or challenges. In QA, that means starting testing with WHAT you have, testing early, and refining your strategy as new information surfaces. Start testing NOW, even if your strategy isn’t flawless. Test and adjust/improve your strategy as you learn. That’s how you catch critical issues faster and keep momentum. Perfect QA plans don’t exist. Unfold your testing strategy in real time .... or fall behind.

🚨 Wiz walks away from a $23B acquisition deal with Google! 🚨 Wiz has turned down a $23 billion acquisition offer from Google, choosing to pursue an IPO instead and target $1 billion in annual recurring revenue. This decision comes after nearly doubling their $12 billion valuation. Founded in 2020, Wiz achieved $100 million in annual recurring revenue in just 18 months and $350 million last year. Their cloud security products have attracted major firms, helping Google compete with Microsoft. Wiz's decision to walk away from the deal is nothing short of shocking. This move could be incredibly savvy or a colossal mistake. Leaving nearly $13 billion on the table is a significant risk. 💡 What's your take on Wiz's bold move? #TechNews #CloudSecurity #Startup #IPO #BusinessStrategy #Wiz
