EDGE builds engagement through monthly events, committee and leadership positions, and provides a platform for meaningful conversation for community and public policy in the Sacramento region.

    As the communications committee chair, I work with the EDGE leadership committee chairs, other committee chairs, co-chairs, and the Sacramento Metro Chamber program managers to build communications strategies around impactful events, content, and programs for young professionals in the Sacramento region.

    This includes building a strategic communications plans with best practices, content calendars, consulting on best marketing and communications tactics for promoting events and content, and advising on marketing and promoting.

    As the Communications Committee co-chair, I helped run the day to day communications, event marketing, internal, and member communications for Metro Edge. These encompassed social media promotions for events, weekly member newsletters, and strategic planning with other committee goals. Along with the Comms Committee chair, I served on the 2018-19 Metro Edge Leadership Committee.
