You’re Literally Burning Money On UGC. Here’s How to Make META Ads Actually Pay Off. Most brands are wasting cash on UGC that doesn’t deliver. We’ve tested over 500 hooks this year, and here’s the truth: if you’re not testing your angles first, you’re setting yourself up to fail. Here’s how to turn your UGC into effective ads. Here’s Our Proven Process: Test Hooks with Static Ads: Before you even think about scripting, run static image ads to test different hooks. This lets you find what resonates cheaply and quickly. Out of 5 tested hooks, one outperformed the others by 300%. We built the entire UGC campaign around that one hook. Craft Data-Driven Scripts: Once you have your winning hook, craft your UGC scripts around it. Speak directly to the pain points your audience cares about most. Angle Testing: Create multiple UGC variations based on the winning script. Test different angles and creatives to see which one hits hardest. Start with at least three variations. Optimize Fast: As your UGC runs, keep a close eye on performance. Kill the underperformers fast and scale the winners. We used this exact process for a DTC brand. After testing 8 hooks with static ads, we identified the top 2 performers and then built UGC scripts around them. The results? A 45% lower CPA and a 60% boost in ROAS. Hot Take: 🔥 Brands that second-guess everything get bulldozed and taken advantage of: Let me explain... Brands want to succeed with paid search Brand want high ROAS. Brands want performance. However... When I work with brands my main goal is to teach them to connect their data to their unique business. My goal is for brands to build trust and make more informed decisions about their marketing. But if I suggest a campaign or an adjustment that doesn't land with your business then... DON'T DO IT. My suggestions are guidelines. There is more than one way to do things in PPC. Growth and efficiency work in opposite directions at times. Teaching clients to discover what is a yes and what is a no allows brands to build marketing around business goals and outcomes. Marketing success is built slowly over time by tuning into data and then following what the data says... Over and over and over again...
