Companies: “We need to post on social media.” But then: - Copy & paste whatever ChatGPT spits out - Give the marketer zero creative freedom - Every single damn post is a hard sell - Only ever talk about themselves - Share content with no value - Post once in a blue moon And then, 1 month later… “We’re not getting results. Let’s pause for now.” 🥲🙄🫠 Most companies don’t give social media a real shot. You can’t do it for 1-3 months & expect insane results. Or wing it without a strategy. The brands smashing it on social media? They: - Show up consistently - Engage with their audience - Post stuff people want to see - Build trust (not just sell, sell, sell) - Add value: entertain, educate or inspire So before you throw in the towel, make sure you’ve given it a proper shot. You can’t half-ass it & expect results 🤷🏽♀️
This is too real. WAY too real.
Exactly! This reminds me of one time a client was insisting that we don't need any human written content just use Chat GPT and post it he was like it's AI's era we don't need anything else. He wanted us to post two times daily and everything was 100% AI content with no value! Infact he also wanted us to use AI generated content as a blog for their website SEO! I explained him sir we can't do that we can't mess with Google! Eventually we had to drop him because he preferred quantity over quality and we can't do that! And yeah before saying goodbye he made sure to whine and cry about how we were unable to increase their social media and website reach. smh 🤦🏻♂️
Rhianne Lee so many companies are missing out and not even posting on LinkedIn. It’s a free service where you can help others and showcase what your company is about. I have worked at companies where someone internally really want to take charge of posting and communication but they were declined. The company said no, not because they had a better strategy they just didn’t understand the power of LinkedIn and building a brand.
100% it takes time as well, it's not just one post and you're done for the year. Wise words as always 😌
I’ve never reposted something so quickly. Yes, yes, yes. Hard agree, LOUDLY 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
Build a strategy before posting! 🙌
A mentor of mine used to say “most companies are great at the media and crap at the social”
Consistency + strategy = results. Social media is a long game. Companies need to stop chasing quick wins and start focusing on 'building' relationships. → show up → add value → & give people a REASON to care. That’s how you turn followers into fans and fans into customers! Rhianne
if you can't provide value to your audience through content (aka post stuff that aligns with your TA) then why would they value you as a business?
