Sometime It Works! 🤔 One of my projects recently hit an unexpected snag right at the finish line—something we hadn’t anticipated since the engineering phase. The team and I were wracking our brains, looking for a solution that wouldn’t compromise any standards or requirements. Unfortunately, every idea seemed to fall short. It turned out we’d all been thinking within the box, bound by project constraints and past assumptions. One day, while casually discussing the issue with a peer who wasn’t directly involved in the project, he suggested a simple solution that brought everyone on board and resolved the issue! 🌟 Lesson learned: Sometimes, sharing a challenge with someone outside the project can reveal a fresh perspective and a breakthrough solution. Commercial green hydrogen and ammonia production to become a reality in Canada. By ALICIA MOORE The country is set to get its first production facility with the help of McDermott. McDermott, a Houston-based, fully-integrated provider of engineering and construction solutions to the energy industry, is set to construct Canada’s first commercial green hydrogen and ammonia production facility. The facility will be located in Central Newfoundland and is part of the Exploits Valley Renewable Energy Corporation (EVREC) project. McDermot achieved an ECI agreement from Abraxas Power. McDermott was awarded an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) agreement from Abraxas Power Corporation for the green hydrogen and ammonia project. Under the scope of the agreement, McDermott will reportedly provide: Front-end engineering design (FEED). Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) execution planning services. Open book EPC cost estimate for hydrogen production, ammonia processing, and product storage portion. The construction work will be led from McDermott’s Houston office with support from another of its offices located in India. Rob Shaul, McDermott’s Senior Vice President, Low Carbon Solutions, said in a recent company news release that McDermott’s “century of experience” means that it can offer Abraxas a “repeatable modular implementation solution” that is highly anticipated to drive cost savings, lower risk and deliver quality assurance. 165kta of green hydrogen and 5,000 metric tons per day of ammonia. The green hydrogen and ammonia production facility will include 150 MW solar photo voltaic, and the development of a wind farm with up to 530 turbines capable of generating 3.5 GW of power. https://lnkd.in/eSjRdf7y

a few thoughts that are really thought questions. when you vote, are you swayed by experience and judgement or gender and skin color? Are ideologies or party affiliations more important? will the most important reasoning be you feelings or a candidates action? would you vote for and individual who would frame innocent people to exercise their perceived political power for the sake of power only? would you vote for an individual who was Marxist and had come from a Marxist family upbringing? would you vote for an individual who's ancestors had owned slaves? would you vote for an individual who holds dual citizenship? My grandfather use to tell me, judge people by their actions not their words. if your confused about these questions, there are 2 candidates running for president of the United States with very differt ideas about running the country, you might need to do some research on them, I would suggest tuning out the talking heads while doing it.
