The speed at which these models improve is staggering, so is the cost to build them. One of THE most exciting events at the #DataCloudSummit was Snowflake's 5-Minute Demo Dare where 3 finalists had 5 minutes to build LIVE in front of an audience of several hundred and a panel of judges. Coalesce.io's own Josh Hall showed (IN JUST 5 MINUTES) how anyone can easily operationalize Snowflake Cortex LLM Functions with Coalesce. Here's what he did: * Translate transcripts to English * Unify translated data sets * Apply Cortex LLM functions * Extract the customer name * Create the sentiment score * Summarize the transcript * Derive JSON mappings I hope next year event is featured in the middle of Summit as it was incredible watching the folks from Airbyte, phData, and Josh work their magic, troubleshoot LIVE any random issues thrown at them by the demo gods, and race against the clock to deliver a compelling demo and tangible end product/result.
