Executive Directors, stay connected to your marketing efforts and investments! Unfortunately, many nonprofit leaders are frustrated, confused, and disappointed when they realize their marketing investments aren't treated with integrity and excellence. Here are a few ways I've supported non-tech-savvy directors to both understand and maximize their investments: 💻 I've led and supported calls with their "website team" when their websites didn't look correct or work. I understand tech jargon and when developers haven't done their scope. 📱 I've called hosting sites like Goddady, Network Solutions, and WPEngine, as their liaison for tech support during critical downtime of emails, websites, or domain issues. 💳 I've audited paid digital ads to help directors understand whether their current investments are worth it. People will sell clicks all day long without any true benefit to the organization. Clicks without a purpose are just wasted traffic. ✉ I've built automation systems that automatically connect with new supporters, relieving their team from manual tasks like sending welcome emails or event reminders. Why spend thousands to be featured in someone else's newsletter when you can own and build a dynamic email newsletter?
