While each org can continue to operate independently with its own data, configuration, and customization, Data Cloud One enables the following: 1⃣️ Redefines Multi-Org Architecture by easily equipping multiple Salesforce orgs with one central Data Cloud instance, unifying Salesforce and external data 2⃣️ Enables cross-org collaboration with Shared Data Cloud objects and insights, eliminating duplicative efforts 3⃣️ Securely shares Data Spaces across companion orgs Before Data Cloud one, customers may have needed to implement custom code to invoke the right Apex Queries and/or Flows. Now you can do it with clicks, which allows you to implement faster and maintain your setup more easily. It's also worth noting that Data Cloud One is compatible with Data Cloud Sandboxes, supporting your Application Lifecycle Management and DevOps processes. Imagine this…you do all this hard work…you’ve researched the #ServiceNow job market…you’ve tweaked your resume numerous times, applied to tons of job postings, participated in various types of interviews and you’ve managed to land a job! It’s time to celebrate right? Let’s pop some champagne! 🥂 While this is certainly an achievement, especially in this challenging and evolving market, a large portion of individuals end up starting off on the wrong foot at their new job. The most common reason -- the company, department, and manager have NO onboarding checklist geared towards ServiceNow professionals. So, what ends up happening -- you attend a very basic, generic company orientation and then are handed off to your team for “next steps”. Those “next steps” aren’t usually documented, and if they are, they almost certainly aren’t specific to ServiceNow professionals. What can you do -- create your own ServiceNow specific onboarding checklist to bring to the table that includes strategic steps to not only assist with a smoother onboarding experience but increase the chance of HUGE wins for your ServiceNow career. It is meant to educate teams on how to get the most out of Salesforce by highlighting patterns and anti-patterns that influence healthy solutions — those that are trusted, easy, and adaptable. The framework covers many different topics and is organized into levels, some of which are covered in this fun animation I spun up. I’ve been working with Susannah Kate Plaisted and the team to help expand some of the Data Cloud topics, and am excited for some of those to come out later this year. Hey Pega Community, As I was diving into Outside In, a particular case study about FedEx struck a chord with me, especially in the context of customer experience and our relationships with our moms. Let me share the story and some insights: FedEx identified a customer segment they called Confirmers—meticulous yet perpetually worried about their packages. Despite a smooth operational process, the sight of their packages in a "leaning tower" pile made these customers anxious, fearing their items would get lost. To alleviate this, FedEx made a simple yet impactful change: installing a wall with presort windows. Agents would slide packages through these windows, visibly reassuring customers of their safety. Behind the wall? The same "leaning tower of packages"—the process remained unchanged, but perception transformed. This got me thinking about our moms. Often, they worry about us, sometimes without basis, much like the Confirmers. How can we apply the same principles from customer experience to our personal lives and business practices? Here are some concrete actions: 1. Listen Actively Personal: Have regular check-ins with family members. Listen without interrupting to understand their concerns. Professional: Engage in active listening during client meetings. Validate their concerns and provide clear, reassuring responses. 2. Transparent Communication Personal: Share your plans and updates with family. Transparency reduces unnecessary worry. Professional: Keep clients informed about project progress and any changes. Transparency builds trust. 3. Visible Reassurance Personal: Show your care through small gestures—helping out with tasks, or simply being present. Professional: Use Pega's robust capabilities to provide real-time updates and transparent process flows to clients. 4. Empathy in Action Personal: Understand and address the underlying concerns of family members. Sometimes, a small act of kindness can make a big difference.
