Wonderfully exciting news on the horizon for those who are tracking enterprise progression in the DFW area. There's more to come – this won't be the terminal location. A new wave of expansion is in the pipeline and set to alter the regional ecosystem. • Bringing this stage of progression to life - the franchisees. This troop of entrepreneurs are fueling the change, steering this voyage of expansive growth. As we look to the future, one glimpses a realm densely populated by breakthroughs and vast opportunities. • Scrutinizing the corporation in question, too, lifts the veil on a larger picture - a narrative of innovation, striving business ethos, and a solid record of endurance, especially notable in these challenging times. My forecast, constructed on the current elements of this trajectory, manifests these trends: 1/ Proliferation of Business: This won't be the final installment on the DFW map. The space teems with the promise of heightened economic activities, heralding a brighter future. 2/ Empowerment for Franchisees: The catalysts for this era, their role is undoubtedly pivotal. The franchising mode ensures the diffusion of authority and promotes partnership, enhancing the company's outreach. 3/ Boosting Local Economy: Delving deeper into the stratums of this exposition, one anticipates a dual boost to local entrepreneurship and employment, invariably fueling the region’s economic outlook. Now there are several implications to this scenario- amongst them, the shift towards a more decentralized organisation format, and the tangible evolution of tenacious, innovative, and resolute enterprise stakeholders. It opens a new dialogue on franchising as an effective expansion tool. While further quarters will unfurl the complete picture, these early intimations provide sufficient vigor to keep our anticipations heightened. Last week I was in Fort Worth, Texas for the Collective 54 Founders Summit alongside Vallene, Miles, and ~240 other leaders of professional services firms (including some friends and clients), and here are a few of my biggest takeaways: 1. Running a business is hard, and finding a community that can support you through that journey is invaluable. I tell Val and Miles all the time "there is no way I would do this without you two" 🤣 because, while it's rewarding, running a business is ... A LOT. It's lonely. It's challenging. But if you have people around you who support you and walk the walk with you, it's one of the most fulfilling experiences out there. 2. Numbers matter. I'm a creative, okay?! Strategy is my thing, and when Miles (or Jordan) comes at me with spreadsheets, sometimes I try to hide. However, sitting in a room full of people who are successfully growing, scaling, and exiting their businesses is a good reminder that at the end of the day the numbers do, in fact, matter - and the numbers are what enable us to continue doing what we love to do. (I think this might be the entire reason Miles brings me to this conference lol). 3. Building a strong team backed by efficient processes is the key to successfully scaling. I talk about this often since we work with so many business owners who are trying to scale. To truly scale, a company must be able to increase its capacity to handle more business without increasing its operational costs (this is where process comes in). Additionally, founders and leaders have to be able to delegate and elevate themselves out of being the bottleneck (this is where a strong team comes in). There are a lot more insights I could share, but traveling gave me the world's worst head cold so that is all for now. As we wrap up this month, it's time for another video! Texas heat is here 🔥 , and so are our numbers! We're already halfway through the year, and here are some quick reminders.   1. Don’t sit in the background! Time kills all deals. From the get-go, be super responsive and maintain a sense of urgency.   2.  Understand the internal decision-making process. When selling a new deal, even to an existing customer, don't assume you know, always ask, "Who is paying for this? What does the internal decision-making process look like?"   3. Don’t rely solely on relationships. You have to sell value. Yes, people buy from those they trust and like, but you must prove value and show that your solution solves a business problem. At the end of the day, buyers need to show their internal stakeholders ROI, and liking alone won't cut it:-)   4.  Work hard for your customers. It’s a competitive differentiator. Customers want to work with reps who will take care of them and work diligently to help them solve business problems.   5. Advocate for your customers. You are the voice of your customers within your organization. Make sure their voice is heard.   6. If someone is asking for a steep discount, show them why you can't do that. Be human. No customer wants to be unfair. Honest, human conversations help build trust. #sales; #quota, #deals
