Everything is an experiment. Once upon a time, the company you are working for didn't exist. It all started as an idea, that eventually became a concept, and now a set of things you market known as a product. Every iteration is an expansion of that, and not all of them are going to work. Treat it like an athlete does, keep trying different things until you figure out what works for you, and then try some more because your muscles learn to adapt to your workouts (so does the market). Such is how it goes in complex adaptive systems.
