PSA for all US based video editors: Companies like Landed is the biggest threat to our existence. Look at the copy. "Hire Video Editors and save up to 51% compared to US-based equivalents." I'm sorry - who are the "US-based equivalents??" Yeah - that's me and you. If you're wondering why it's so hard to get an editing gig - this is why. THIS. IS. OUR. COMPETITION. Why would an company hire US-based editors and pay a 51% higher rate when that same company can go on Landed and find off-shore help? Don't get mad though. This is capitalism. This is innovation. This is how the game goes. And, it's happening in every industry. Game recognizes game. At some point in the future, your editing gig will get outsourced to a company like Landed. If you do nothing in light of this - congratulations. You played yourself. Think Differently.
