I’ll keep this short and sweet. After 7.5 years, I say goodbye to Okta. 7 different roles spanning everything from Product Marketing to Demand Marketing and everything in between. $100M~ in ARR to $2B+. The creation and re-invention of multiple market categories. From just a few thousand customers to north of 20,000. Truly iconic, and I consider myself lucky to have been a part of it. Todd McKinnon and Frederic Kerrest, it was a heck of a ride. As for what’s next, I’m excited to share that I’m starting my adventure as Chief Marketing Officer for Axonius. A few important considerations in choosing my next gig: (1) the opportunity to partner with fantastic founders in Dean Sysman Ofri Shur and Avidor Bartov who bring unparalleled expertise, integrity and intellectual curiosity. (2) a market opportunity that is massive, pervasive and untapped (CAASM) … and it’s just the beginning. (3) technology that customers love. Axonius delivers on all of this and more. The future is bright and I’m really excited to get started.

🎥 Just had a fantastic conversation with Matt Yanchyshyn, Vice President of AWS Marketplace & Partner Services, at the AWS Marketplace Seller Conference in Bellevue today! It’s always inspiring to be part of this incredible event where attendees dive deep into AWS Marketplace innovations and partner strategies. Here are a few key takeaways from our conversation: 🔹 Improvements to AWS Marketplace: Matt shared how AWS Marketplace has evolved rapidly, with improvements like enhanced discovery, SEO, new product detail pages, and a revamped homepage. The focus on customer experience is at the heart of these updates, making it easier for partners and customers to navigate and transact. 🔹 Console Integrations and Marketplace-Powered Solutions: One of the exciting developments Matt discussed was the integration of Marketplace within AWS services like EC2 and EKS. Last night, I had the honor of hosting a fireside chat featuring PagerDuty senior leaders and members of our Illuminate ERG in celebration of Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month. It's always a privilege to hear someone's story, and a great reminder that everyone is human and has faced roadblocks, unique challenges, and moments of insecurity to get where they are today. Our panelists shared how their experiences and cultural identity shaped their approach to leadership, drawing on themes of adaptability, loyalty, respect, compassion, and mindfulness. As a first-generation, biracial Filipino American, I didn't know anyone in the corporate world growing up. I knew plenty of educators, nurses, and government employees, but diving into tech was a big unknown. I've learned a lot over the years, but I still find conversations like these so valuable! A few takeaways that really stuck with me: 1. Give yourself permission to fail 2. Don't compare yourself, except to yourself 3. Diversity of thought comes from diversity of experiences 4. You get to take space and you need to make space (wisdom from our late, beloved colleague, Phylicia "PJ" Jones) 5. Learn the whole business - be curious and listen to what leaders are talking about. When I first joined Frontify and the partnership team, I quickly got used to using Gong for all my external calls. The funny thing is, more often than not, the people I'd speak to would also get very excited about it and ask if they could get it too (mind you, this was BEFORE the big AI hype). So naturally, when Udi Ledergor 🏳‍🌈 invited marketers to talk to him and learn more about how to leverage Gong for marketing, I was excited to hear more. While talking to Udi, I was reminded again about what a great tool Gong is (yes, I work for a SaaS company, and I love software, so what) and how easy it is to leverage for direct feedback at scale from your customers and prospects. Thanks so much for the insightful session, Udi!

This year for the holidays (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, winter solstice -- I'm flexible), I'd like an API from each airline that allows us to validate loyalty numbers. And from TSA for KTNs. It stinks when our travelers enter their name and loyalty numbers -- Elliott T McNamee and ABC12345 -- but don't get their loyalty credit or benefits because the airline has a different name -- Elliott Taylor McNamee and ABC12345. Just a thumbs up or thumbs down on the name and number combination, that's all I need. Shoutout to Southwest Airlines, the only carrier that validates loyalty numbers. Love when I'm demoing, book Southwest (so I can show our EarlyBird option through our direct connection) and get this error on one of our test profiles :)
