ELEVATING WOMEN'S SPORT IS A COLLECTIVE EFFORT Women's sports are poised to generate more than $1.28b in global revenues in 2024 - a 300% growth in just 3 years. Despite this rapid growth, women's sports get a fraction of financial support compared to men's sports. In the past year, The Collective - Wasserman's women-focused, global impact and advisory business - has been working alongside our client AT&T and three other companies (Capital One, Cisco and Deloitte) to launch The Athena Pledge. The Athena Pledge is a rally for brands to invest more in women’s sports. The goal is to gather 20 companies who spend $50M over 4 years to equal $1B driven to women’s sports. I’m looking for a company that may need some help launching a brand/product in the U.S that is already present in another market for a class I teach on Global Marketing at the LMU Graduate School of Business. The class focuses on determining how a brand’s USP and differentiated positioning may be leveraged to succeed in the US market given distinct competition and unique consumer dynamics. For the first half of the semester these students (who have full-time jobs during the day and take the course at night) will learn the foundational elements of global marketing, positioning and effective marketing strategies.  They in turn apply these techniques to build a recommendation plan for your brand/product encompassing: -       Market Analysis -       Target Audience Profile -       USP/Messaging -       Media Mix Recommendation That plan would be presented to a representative of your company in December. You can think of it as hiring a strategic marketing group for free, and using that as a first draft for your company. We did this last year for a smart watch company and it worked out well for both parties. Obviously no funds are required, and we simply ask you to share details on the current brand/product in market, as well as projected sales and budget for a US launch. In the end, you receive a strategic view of the business and some fresh ideas from bright students, and they receive some real-life experience. All In Sport Consulting in partnership with Stitch Marketing Research and Huddle Up Group, LLC announced today that the total economic impact of adapted and para sport-related events nationwide totaled approximately $143.9 million in 2023. The latest economic impact study findings, demonstrate an increase of approximately 3.45 percent over last year’s findings, reflecting consistent growth of the industry in the United States. The study also revealed that adapted sport organizations expect that growth trend to continue, especially with the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games coming to the U.S. Thank you to all who participated in this year’s study, which is invaluable in measuring the true economic footprint of the adapted sports industry. BIKE FITNESS COACHING IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE FIRST OFFERING OF OUR NEWLY REVISED 3-DAY BIKE FITTING COURSE Bend, Oregon – 8/15/2024 COURSE OVERVIEW Bike Fitness Coaching is passionate about teaching bike fitting and we are always working on ways to improve our courses. We have recently revised our 3-day bike fitting course significantly to improve the organization and content of this course, changes that we believe will enhance the student’s learning experience. This Zoom-based course now has a modular structure and is divided into two main parts. The first part of the course covers background materials and exercises that must be completed and turned in prior to the start of the course. Topics that we cover in the background material include: (1) Basic Parts of a Bicycle; (2) Tools Required to Adjust Bicycles During a Bike Fit; (3) Bike Sizing; (4) Cycling Relevant Human Anatomy; and (5) Key Measures in Bike Fitting and Software Used to Measure Them. Part two of the course provides a detailed look at the three phases of our bike fit process. Topics included in this part of the course include shoe analyses, cleat positioning, and pedal stance; (2) crank length determination; (3) saddle analyses and positioning; and (4) cockpit adjustments and positioning. Most of the course time (SAT/SUN) will be focused on discussing the module materials that describe our bike fitting process. Some thoughts for Transfer Mag on the recent X-Games and Snow League announcements. Here's an excerpt ~ Ultimately, both leagues aim to put snowboarding on a pedestal year-round, support athletes and provide a more centralised way for the consumer (us) to watch snowboarding, all positive outcomes! But does having two major leagues follow a similar path to golf where you’re either one or the other? Does money and vested interest come in to play and certain athletes contracted to one league? Regardless, people pouring money into snowboarding is only a good thing, regardless of how cringe the music acts are. Providing a format for top athletes to compete in a way that’s easier to digest by the masses only increases eyeballs and creates more opportunity for your and my favourite snowboarders to showcase their talent, and feel financially secure in doing so.
