This two-man live stage show that strives to bring disability-awareness to all audiences, debuted in Boston with two performances at the Brookline Teen Center on November 13th and 14th, 2013. The duo of Handicap This!, Mike Berkson and Tim Wambach shared their personal story, inspiring all of us to do more with what we have. The show’s goal is to further the message of ‘Judgment Not Allowed’, referring to living with disabilities, breaking down barriers, and above all, shedding light on everyone’s potential.

I was introduced to Handicap This! via Facebook in 2011 and was inspired by the show’s message. Mike Berkson and Tim Wambach of Handicap This! started the show in 2010 with two specific goals in mind; (1) to teach people to see beyond the wheelchair or disability, and (2) to give a voice to a group of people who are often unheard.

I turned to crowdfunding to raise half of the funds necessary to bring the live performance from Chicago, IL to Boston, MA, and raised the remainder with corporate sponsors as well as private donors.
