It was a pleasure speaking with James Palmer, reporter at Corporate Counsel about the uncertainty around a potential recession and its impact on legal hiring. Given that there is a lack of certainty that a recession will materialize, I do not anticipate that, broadly, there will be meaningful repercussions for corporate law, material layoffs, nor a profound impact on hiring.
