A quick update on Young People in Print… If you are a print company that would like to find young people to join your team, but struggling to find them, here are a few tips on how to engage with the The Careers & Enterprise Company and Educators:- General information on how you can get involved. https://lnkd.in/egyua76Q One of the key roles in a careers hub volunteer team is enterprise advisor, one option would be to become one of them to form a stronger link with one careers hub to use that link to show what's possible. There are also links to volunteer in different roles, including what is called give an hour, which as the name suggests is a lower level ask of as little as an hour to volunteer to support a school and teacher encounters. This is where teachers visit an employer and leave with a better understanding of the sector so they can reflect that in their lessons, to bring the subject to life. https://lnkd.in/eskBPXew The Enterprise Adviser Network, https://lnkd.in/esSNb5DF is a community of business volunteers who work with schools in all areas and may give you closer access to your local educators. If you are just not sure what you can/can’t do when engaging with young people, perhaps this link will help, Employer Standards https://lnkd.in/evpTczvW If you need more help or direction, get in touch with any of the YPIP team, Delroy S., Elizabeth Bowerman, Joanna Stephenson, Kelvin Bell, Lucy Swanston, or me!
