xyzeus now supports area searches for querying the Foursquare POI database. Simply draw and area on a map, grab the WKT, and submit it into the area_search() method of the Foursquare() class. Optional params include category and country. I used the polygon on the left to query on all POIS in Manhattan in 1 line of code. The query took about 1 minute and 26 seconds.
