X-Bow confirms the successful static test of PSM-1, the world’s first large scale, additively manufactured solid rocket motor, in June of this year. X-Bow Systems recently received additional funding for expansion of our contract for hypersonic solid rocket motor development. We were honored to host Adele Ratcliff, Director of the United States Department of Defense's Innovation Capability and Modernization (ICAM) office, at our expanding Texas campus on December 3, 2024. Ms. Ratcliff stated, “It is a national imperative that DoD seek new and rapid alternative sources of solid rocket motor production that provide the Department’s decisions makers options that not only meet DoD’s operational needs but bring capabilities and capacity to bear that grow the defense industrial base (DIB).  X-Bow is a critical partner in the DIB ecosystem that aims to provide technical overmatch in the Hypersonics domain.” Pictured at right, Ms. Ratcliff and Max Vozoff, CTO of X-Bow (left) discuss the recent contract expansion and X-Bow’s advanced manufacturing techniques and their crucial role in delivering high-performance solid rocket motors more efficiently and cost-effectively.
