6 Things We Loved About the Adventure Travel World Summit in Panama 1. Launch of the Adventure Hub - The Adventure Travel Trade Association's new Adventure Hub is a game changer for how World Nomads will connect across the ATTA network. This clean, intuitive app will make connecting with business, professional, and community members a breeze. Our fave features? The Member Directory, Discussion Groups (great topics like Sustainability, Marketing, and AI), Journalist Alerts, and Ask the Community. App fatigue is real, but this one’s a must-have for adventure travel professionals. 2. Shared Values Build Better Partnerships - When it comes to partnerships, having shared values really matters. At World Nomads, we are big believers that travel can be a force for good, and our Footprints micro-donation program gives travelers a way to give back to the communities around the world. This year, at the Adventure Travel Conservation Fund (ATCF) breakfast, our work with ATCF and adopting two impactful projects, sparked conversations with like-minded brands to thank us, say hello and talk collaborations With Dr. Rachel Graham of MarAlliance as the keynote and a past Footprints project partner, this was a full-circle moment. This was especially meaningful as Footprints celebrates its 20th anniversary in a few months and casts a spot light on the staying power of doing good. 3. The Fast-Paced Evolution of Adventure Travel - The adventure travel industry is transforming rapidly with new operators, business models, trends, and technology. One standout was Bolderspace’s Manifesto on Digital Humanism and Universal Basic Digital Infrastructure, which explores a decentralized digital future with a more human-centered approach. Fascinating and thought-provoking. 4. Am I networking right now? - Since 2008, World Nomads has attended ATWS, and every year it offers unique opportunities to connect with customers, partners, media, and influencers. These aren’t just formal networking moments—they’re genuine conversations that lead to meaningful relationships. 5. Celebrating Panama’s Culture with a Makers Market - ATTA brought Panama’s vibrancy directly to attendees with a Makers Market, where local artisans showcased their crafts. This initiative allowed us to support the local economy and learn more about Panamanian artistry. Combined with the Day of Adventure and pre-summit activities, it was an inspiring celebration of culture. We hope this remains a Summit tradition! 6. Reaching Our Ideal Audience - The global Summit adventure audience is exactly who World Nomads wants to reach and share our latest news with, whether it’s new product launches, marketing campaigns, or business updates. Attending Summit truly amplifies our reach and impact across all our business and brand goals. Looking forward to next year in Chile! #AdventureTravel #TravelSummit #WorldNomads #ATTA

WYSTC 2024 in Portugal – An Unforgettable Experience! We had an incredible time at the World Youth & Student Travel Conference (WYSTC), connecting with leaders from 150+ countries and showcasing our commitment to this vibrant industry. With 600+ delegates, 19+ networking events and 925+ hours of educational content, WYSTC is the place to be for building partnerships and driving meaningful impact in the Youth travel space. As a headline sponsor, World Nomads took centre stage with our branded business lounge at the heart of the event. Our team of 6 had 90+ productive meetings with hostels, OTAs, tour operators and more, resulting in a suite of very strong leads for future collaborations. This year marks our 19th year of attendance and we can’t wait to celebrate our 20th anniversary at next year's WYSTC! Cheers to more growth, collaboration and innovation in the youth and student travel sector. #WYSTC2024 #WorldNomads #YouthTravel #TravelIndustry #Partnerships #Networking #Innovation
