Last night we hosted demo day for the UF Startup Launch Competition! We chose the top 3 student-led startups (out of more than 30) to pitch in front of our judges Dan Rua, Co-founder of Admiral: The Visitor Relationship Management Company, Aaron White, Co-founder of Script (acquired) and Outbound AI; SPENCER ELLIOTT, Co-founder / GP at Future Funders; and TJ Fleming, Associate at DeepWork Capital! Congrats to the Knowlify team on taking home the 1st place $10,000 prize! Great work to the WiseWork Ai and MentorShip teams as well! This was our 3rd year running the competition and we’re very thankful to Jamie Kraft, Megan Buttel and the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center for all of their continued support! Special thanks to our intern Brandon Woodard for helping with logistics & operations throughout the 10-week program!

Last night, OneSixOne Ventures hosted the Demo Day for our Startup Launch Competition. Over the past 10 weeks, 30 teams of student founders participated in the program, with the top three teams showcasing their impressive progress during the event. It was incredible to witness the drive and ambition of these three student founding teams. The WiseWork Ai, Knowlify, and MentorShip teams delivered outstanding pitches to our judges. Congratulations to Knowlify for winning the $10,000 grand prize! We also enjoyed two insightful panels: one featuring accomplished founders Aaron White and Dan Rua, and the other with venture capitalists based in Florida, TJ Fleming and SPENCER ELLIOTT.
