**INTERN SPOTLIGHT**   Connor Dela-Cruz is a rising 2L at BYU Law. Connor is passionate about advocating for others and was drawn to law school because of the unique way lawyers are able to help people.  Connor grew up in Weber County, Utah where he attended Roy High School. He learned to speak Spanish while serving a mission in Paraguay. Connor received his associate degree from Weber State University and a bachelor's in political science with an emphasis in American government from BYU-Idaho. During Connor's undergrad, he did extensive research on human trafficking, which serves as an excellent primer for the work he is doing at ULS in helping prepare wage claims for migrant workers who have been trafficked for labor.  Before attending law school, Connor worked as a paralegal at Wilkerson Law Group in Idaho Falls where he was exposed to many different areas of the law including business law, family law, criminal defense, estate law, personal injury, and more.  This summer Connor hopes to work in many different areas of law, but his passion for the work of ULS makes him especially excited to be here. In his free time, he loves to be with his wife and kid. Connor is also a former member of the Utah music scene and still writes and produces music when he can.
