Our team just returned from an inspiring company offsite in beautiful Newport, Rhode Island! As a primarily remote, distributed team, these moments of in-person connection are invaluable to us. We dove into strategic planning and our Mission, Vision, and Values, enjoyed team bonding activities including firepits & s’mores, sunrise yoga, and even some late night karaoke (❗🎤😂), and shared memorable meals and waterfront cocktail hours together that strengthened our relationships and radiated all the ✨ good vibes ✨. A highlight was touring the stunning vineyards at Greenvale Vineyards, where we toasted to our hard work and connection to each other 🍷. We also gave back to the local community through volunteering at the Norman Bird Sanctuary 🐦. We couldn’t be prouder of our talented team and the incredible culture we’ve built together, and we’re so excited for what’s to come for this group. Unreal Snacks, the brand reimagining nostalgic candy with zero artificial dyes and up to 55% less sugar, has hired a new chief commercial officer: Alison Whritenour. After over a decade at home cleaning brand Seventh Generation, Whritenour is poised to help usher the brand through a successful season following its expansion into new categories earlier this year: its introduction of chocolate-covered pretzels and chocolate almonds saw a record high sales day for the 13-year old brand.
