Enthuse’s ‘Rising To The Challenge’ Report - 10 mass participation insights for sponsors The Covid-19 era aside, mass participation events have always held a strong appeal for sponsors. A great way to cut through the clutter of competition, they act as a gateway to multiple media touch points, diverse activation opportunities and powerful community/charitable partnerships – all at a reasonable price. They are also diverse in character, with a broad array of rights holders offering mass participation events across running, walking, cycling, swimming and adventure courses to name a few. This rich range of activities makes it possible to reach elusive and affluent segments of the population – while it also provides an ideal opportunity to build authentic interactions with employees. One of the most interesting dimensions of mass participation events is their close connection with charities, with a significant number of participants raising large sums of money for their chosen charities across the year.

UK Sponsorship Awards 2025: Celebrating the team players. Consultancy, Rights Holder and People awards open for entry - Consultancy, Rights Holder and People awards open for entry The 2025 UK Sponsorship Awards are open for entry and, as always, there are several categories designed to celebrate the achievements of companies and individuals. Consultancies and Rights Holders will have their own dedicated categories, with three awards a piece; and there will also be at least three new Champions of Sponsorship. Another key category in the 2025 line up is the Barrie Gill Award for Most Promising Young Sponsorship Executive – a recognition of tomorrow’s leaders. All of these Awards are a great way to celebrate the people making a difference across the sponsorship industry. In their own way, each category shines a spotlight on the team players who have over-delivered and outperformed in 2024/25. Here’s a brief breakdown on each: Agency categories: There are so many excellent sponsorship agencies that UKSA typically offers three awards: Best Large Agency, Best Small to Medium Consultancy and one other. In recent years, the third award has either been for a Breakthrough Consultancy or one that has exhibited outstanding innovation. Requirements for entry can be found here. These prestigious awards recognise the people doing the work – not just the work itself or the client. Getting shortlisted for these Awards is partly about the hard graft that has been put in during the year, but it’s also a reflection of company culture. Innovation, inclusivity, contribution to the wider industry and staff welfare all count when the judges are reviewing entries. Companies that are selected for the shortlists are, in effect, applauding the teams that have contributed to their success. Read on here - https://lnkd.in/eU5hDyab
