About us
Trackingplan automatically documents and monitors all the data you are collecting for analytics, marketing, or sales. It’s installed in minutes and provides data governance and observability to make sure your tracking is happening as you planned, and that you are collecting only the right data. Adding just one script in your frontends with your tag manager, it watches and models in real-time everything your Web or mobile Apps send to third parties like Google Analytics, Amplitude, Intercom, Hubspot, ... to give you from day one: - An always up-to-date documentation and data dictionary. Get rid of your spreadsheets and check if what’s implemented is what you expected. - Alerts when there are schema inconsistencies in events, properties, user attributes, or UTM params you are collecting. Avoid data downtimes and make decisions on reliable information. - Traffic anomalies detection of each event, with attribution analysis. Detect product problems and easily debug and fix the causes. Trackingplan is trusted by data-intensive teams like Typeform, Freepik, Flaticon, or Spotahome. Unlike other solutions, it doesn’t require any technical skills to set up or use, and actually observes all kinds of customer data, even in your custom collectors.

It looks like everyone is on the same page: the SEO strategies we’ve relied on for years seem to be just as effective for optimizing content for LLM scrapers and rankings. In addition to David's insights (which you should put into practice if you haven't yet!), here's more valuable information on how to identify, track, and visualize traffic from AI-powered tools and chatbots using Google Analytics 4 and Looker Studio. A must-read for anyone looking to dive deeper into segmenting and optimizing AI-driven traffic! 🔗 Read the full article here: https://buff.ly/4feDRYz
Would you like ChatGPT to recommend your product? I would too, so I've been looking into how to "help" them. There seems to be a consensus in the community that the usual parameters that improve SEO will also improve LLM scrappers and rankings: ✅ Create relevant content: keywords, structured data, etc. ✅ Have authority: participate in forums, get backlinks ✅ Write content appreciated by AI: For example, “5 reasons to use this product.” or answer frequently asked questions. ✅ Have product reviews But weren't we already doing this? Apparently, there is also an initiative that provides information in a friendly format to be indexed by LLMs and I have started testing it. The project is called https://llmstxt.org and consists of creating a file with instructions and context for LLM scrappers as if it were a robots.txt and a sitemap. With Josele Perez's help I have managed to tame ChatGPT with a prompt to "easily" convert our sitemap with more than 900 URLs into this new format and publish it in the available directories. I share the prompt here in case it is helpful to you and if anyone knows of any other actions, please share it! https://lnkd.in/dJBDb_Fu

Agree! Creating cross-functional workflows where engineers and marketing/business teams have regular touchpoints to align priorities can help bridge this divide. Additionally, tools that give both teams visibility into data quality and real-time tracking issues can ensure everyone is on the same page. What’s worked for you to improve alignment between teams on data tracking?🤔💭
💭 Thoughts on the reliability of analytics I recently came across a tweet that said: “2.5 years, $52,000 MRR, and we still can’t get our analytics to work consistently.” This really struck a chord with me because it aligns with what I often encounter when working with new companies. Many people in the industry seem to accept that analytics has a low level of reliability, as if 80% accuracy is the best we can hope for. But in my experience, analytics can be far more precise. The real challenge lies in addressing the huge gap that still exists between marketing/business teams and engineering teams. The issue isn’t purely technical; it’s also a matter of perspective. Engineering teams often lack a clear understanding of business priorities. When they implement Quality Assurance processes, they tend to focus on fixing technical issues rather than addressing the ones that have the biggest business impact. This isn’t about blaming engineers or business teams—it’s a symptom of the disconnect between the two. The question is: how can we design processes and tools that prioritize the issues that matter most to the business? 🧐 What do you think? Is it possible to close this gap? What strategies have worked for you to improve the reliability of analytics in your company?
