"As we close out 2024, I’m filled with gratitude and pride for what we’ve accomplished together this year. Whether you’ve partnered with us, participated in our professional learning or coaching programs, or supported our work from afar, you’ve been an essential part of our journey — and I want to take a moment to celebrate you and the collective impact we’ve made." A holiday note from our President and Lead Executive Officer, Nancy B. Gutierrez, Ed.L.D.:

What if we flipped the script this year? Instead of chasing fleeting goals, commit to something meaningful and sustainable. Many of us dive headfirst into diets, fitness routines, or budgeting plans, starting strong with high hopes for the new year. But let’s be honest — by late February, those resolutions often lose their momentum. Our National Designer and Facilitator Dr. Kendra Washington-Bass encourages #edleaders to focus on resolutions that truly enrich your life throughout the year. She has a few suggestions for 2025 resolutions that do just that. Kendra says the key is this: it’s okay if you stumble along the way. Progress is not about perfection. Every day is a new chance to refocus and keep moving toward what matters most. What's one of your commitments for 2025? Share in the comments below.

The Leadership Academy is committed to working with school districts across the country to better equip #edleaders to drive systemic change that helps all students to have an incredible school experience where they are academically challenged while also feeling seen and valued. We're proud to have recently partnered with one of those incredible districts - Fresno Unified School District - for a powerful two-day session where leaders reflected, shared, and collaborated on defining what drives equitable leadership. Together, we explored focus group findings, developed draft dispositions, and brought them to life through real-world scenarios — all centered on creating a student-focused, inclusive vision for the future. The commitment and passion from Fresno's leaders was inspiring, and we're excited to continue supporting this transformative journey for every staff member, student, and family in the Fresno community. #leadershipdispositions #leadershipforchange #edleaders #transformationalleadership Learn how we can work with your district to further develop leaders and create classrooms where all students can thrive: https://lnkd.in/gbGjpbtN (cc: Ashley Fortner-Domínguez, Michelle Jarney)

From Kendrick Lamar to Jimmy Buffett. From Frank Sinatra to Beyoncé. School district leaders turned to many different artists this past year to give them joy, get them hype, and boost their energy! We love this fun piece from Education Week where #superintendents shared their top 5 most listened to songs from 2024. Sound off in the comments section below, #edleaders: What were the top songs that hyped you up this year? cc: Nancy B.
