About us
Women Leading Ed is an ever-expanding national nonprofit network for women superintendents and those who aspire to land the top CEO roles in districts and states. In partnership with current and former superintendents, we’re working to grow and strengthen the pipeline of future leaders through cohort-based leadership training programs and intentional network building. Since we first began as an affinity group that brought together a core group of seasoned and aspiring women leaders, we’ve supported over 300 women (and counting) to leverage the power of peer learning and navigate the politics of leadership to achieve career growth and sustainability. https://www.womenleadinged.com/the-time-is-now

I know that I am a better leader today for having the learned with and from the experienced and talented leaders in The Forum for Educational Leadership. Being a part of a network of leaders from across the country who are unapologetically focused on student outcomes while supporting our educators, engaging with our communities, and partnering with families, is what we are all about. The Forum for Educational Leadership helps prepare you for that next step. If you thinking you are ready, this is for you! I am lucky to have a network of people who not only believed in and mentored me, but sponsored me as well. #WeAreTheForum #WomenLeadingEd

The last session of The Forum for Educational Leadership in Dallas was just what my soul needed. We had great insight on how to carve time for ourselves. Great ideas come from silent time. I need to do better with scheduling “think time”. Also, the chance to meet Lara Dallman Weiss OLY was amazing. She shared the importance of cultivating our mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual sides of leadership for success. #WeAreTheForum #WomenLeadingEd

Congratulations to our WLE partner Shalinee Sharma, CEO Zearn on her tremendous contribution and thought leadership!
The idea that some people are “math people” and some people are not is not just wrong, it limits what’s possible for far too many young people, and we can see clearly the implication this has had on women and girls in our country, in particular. Thank you to my amazing friend and total powerhouse Zearn Shalinee Sharma, CEO & Co-Founder, for setting the record straight in her new TED Talk - TED Conferences, sharing her experiences and providing powerful steps to help everyone thrive in math.
