About us
The Lumen Institute is a non-profit organization that provides highly personalized formation for business executives and societal leaders. Its mission is to form Christian leaders to illuminate society with the light of Christ. Through its core values of Character, Faith, and Leadership, it helps to educate and train those who have significant influence to be faithful stewards within their families, businesses, and the broader community. It was founded in 2005 by a small group of New York businessmen and priests in response to a critical need for virtuous formation for today's leaders. Last month, YCP members were fortunate enough to attend a private screening of the French musical Bernadette of Lourdes; hosted by Pierre FERRAGU at The Sheen Center. His Eminence, Timothy Cardinal Dolan inaugurated the evening, with members of The Lumen Institute, and many other special guests in attendance. One of our "Lumen Actions" is to help form the next generation of leaders. We're a proud sponsor of Young Catholic Professionals. This past weekend, we attended their 2024 National Conference and served as mentors to conference attendees. Each year, the conference gets better.
