We know... we're crazy about nature-based solutions to enteric methane reduction! Do you know why? Because the co-benefit potential is tangible. Check out this new publication from Nature Magazine. A dataset of 257,000 studies shows that we need integrated approaches to natural climate solutions. Researchers used an LLM to analyze over 2 million scientific papers on natural climate solutions. The study shows where we have evidence about co-benefits for biodiversity and human well-being, and where knowledge gaps remain.

Symbrosians have been enamored with Dr. Andre Brito's work at the University of New Hampshire since our early days; seeing this project come to life has been a dream, and the results are extremely fascinating 🤓 The Brito lab has been studying the integration of seaweeds into organic dairies for methane reduction since 2011! Congratulations to Md Atikur Rahman (Atik) on this amazing coverage of your study! NEWS CENTER Maine

SeaGraze reduces enteric methane by over 80% - but how do we quantify these emission reductions? Using direct measurements! 💨🐄 This GreenFeed system developed by C-Lock Inc. allows for individual methane measurements both in barn and pasture of every animal. The GreenFeed is an acceptable method by Verra standards meaning that it is replicable and accurate. We take baseline measurements prior to introducing SeaGraze, and measurements after SeaGraze has been implemented to validate the technology. Using the delta between these averages, we are able to determine the methane reduction of a herd, farm, or supply chain! #SustainableAgriculture #MethaneMonitoring #Symbrosia #ClimateAction #InnovativeSolutions

BREAKING! New research highlights that Asparagopsis taxiformis is 40% more effective at reducing enteric methane emissions in livestock compared to synthetic bromoform alone, further solidifying SeaGraze® as a uniquely differentiated, nature-based solution. This breakthrough underscores the immense potential of harnessing natural bioactive compounds for sustainable agriculture and methane mitigation. At Symbrosia, we're excited to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation and deliver impactful solutions that prioritize both the planet and the future of livestock production. 🌱 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gMx85Aca #MethaneReduction #NatureBasedSolutions #SustainableAgriculture #AsparagopsisTaxiformis
