Loyalty Strategy at Starbucks

I had a great time earlier this week working a few hours as a Holiday Helper at a local Starbucks (shout-out to 64th and Meeker!) it had been a long time since I last put on the apron and worked behind the counter! I really enjoyed getting a chance to help out, get to know a few awesome partners, and see how things have changed for our partners over the last 12 years. Looking forward to doing it again soon!

"I love that I had the freedom to be able to connect with a lot of virtual and in-person partners (employees) and build a lot of relationships across teams and across management levels. I was also empowered to change the scope of the project as my learnings informed the direction that I should move in. I was originally tasked with one question, but what I was hearing [from the research] was another, more pressing problem to solve. I communicated my findings, sought buy-in from my leadership team, and circled back with key stakeholders to align on next steps — a true human-centered approach. I appreciated my team for their openness, flexibility and trust." This week we celebrate ten years of our very first Starbucks Reserve location. ⭐️ The Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Seattle opened in 2014, inviting everyone to experience our world of coffee roasting, craft, and innovation. It’s the first of now six Starbucks Reserve Roasteries around the world.
