Council Retreat #3 of the season is a wrap. Thankfully, our work with the City of Glendora team is just beginning! We started the week in sunny Southern California with Glendora Council and leadership team to begin mapping out the goals and outcomes for their next strategic plan. We had a fun and productive work session that included a local governance overview, visioning for the future, goal mapping, and prioritization too! Next, we will work with City staff to develop actions to bring the Council’s outcomes to life, and by May, we will have a fully baked plan just in time to sync with their next budget cycle. It was such a pleasure working with the leadership team + Glendora’s elected officials. We kicked off our 2024-2025 retreat season with another visit to Sitka, Alaska, to work with the leadership team and Assembly on their ongoing 5-year strategic plan. With two evening work sessions we covered progress highlights for year 2, refined the goals going into year 3, and discussed communication tools to better share the City’s story with their community. We are excited for the Sitka team as they head into year 3 of their strategic plan, and PUMPED UP to be supporting them with their strategic plan communications.
