We had an incredible evening hosting some of our tech partners at the Capital Hockey Classic in Washington, D.C.! Our CTO, Kyle Fox, and several other members of the SOSi team welcomed leaders from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Oracle, and Defense Unicorns to the SOSi suite at Capital One Arena for a night of networking and college hockey action. As we deepen our partnerships with these innovative companies, we're excited about transforming how government agencies leverage commercial technology. The energy in the room matched the intensity on the ice — a perfect backdrop for discussing our ambitious collaborative initiatives for 2025. Thank you AWS, Oracle, and Defense Unicorns for joining us. The future of GovTech has never looked brighter!

Effectively managing multi-cloud costs has become a critical challenge for organizations looking to maintain their competitive edge while keeping expenses in check. SOSi CTO Kyle Fox recently shared his expertise with Network Computing, outlining a three-step approach to help organizations get costs under control: moving predictable workloads back on-premises when feasible; rearchitecting dynamic workloads with cost optimization in mind; and implementing continuous optimization through cross-functional teams. Fox emphasizes starting small: "It's best to start by operating within a single CSP and gradually add complexity over time," he said. This practical approach helps organizations build expertise while managing costs effectively. Several of our team members represented SOSi at the inaugural "Salute to Bravery" Gala Dinner in Tampa, where international veterans and military leaders gathered to strengthen support across the NATO Alliance. The event, hosted by Moral Compass Federation's Timothy T., highlighted the critical work of Veteran Coalition International and the Special Operations Warrior Golf Foundation in advocating for wounded warriors and their families. Distinguished guests included USSOCOM Command Team Gen. Bryan Fenton, CSM Shane Shorter, former USSOCOM Commander Gen. (Ret) Tony Thomas, along with HRH Princess Marie of Denmark and Danish Parliament Speaker Søren Gade. Special thanks to our representatives Amy Marden and Glen R. This Thanksgiving season, the SOSi team came together to help our neighbors in need by assembling food donations for Cornerstones, a non-profit organization that has been strengthening families in Northern Virginia since 1970 by providing holistic support to rebuild self-sufficiency and hope. The team packed boxes of non-perishable food items, helping local families enjoy a warm and nourishing holiday meal this season. SOSi believes that no family should go hungry during the holidays, and we're proud to support our local community and help bring the spirit of Thanksgiving to those who need it most.
