📚 Internship Alert! 📚 I am hiring a Business Operations Intern at SmartPath! This will be a generalist function supporting on a number of internal and external facing operational functions, such as process creation, partner onboarding, and business data analysis. About SmartPath: simply put, we're building the digital infrastructure for k-12 home education. Home education is the fastest growing category in the US, with >50% YoY growth, and 59% of likely Gen Z parents saying they would rather homeschool their kids than send them to public / private school. Responsibilities: - Onboard partners joining our platform - Build simple reporting on business processes - Develop ops processes around partner support, engagement, and onboarding - Provide support to tutors, advisors, and service providers that partner with SmartPath Qualifications: - Desire to learn through projects outside your existing skillset - Self driven - Skilled in excel / sheets (Looker/ other visualization tools a plus) - Strong communication skills Compensation: - This internship is unpaid, though this is subject to change should business financials permit This role is ideal for a current undergrad / MBA who wants to gain hands on experience in an early stage startup. When I think about the future my (future) kids will step into, it’s clear the skills they’ll need go beyond what’s usually emphasized in classrooms. When we first switched from private school to homeschooling, it wasn't about the financial aspect (although saving money was definitely a bonus!) It was about creating a learning experience that truly fit our children's needs. What I've come to realize is the real ROI of homeschooling is so much more than just dollars saved.
