2024 has been an unforgettable whirlwind! From traveling the world to attending conferences and many meetings, this year has been filled with invaluable personal and professional growth. I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people who have impacted me in ways I never imagined, and I gained a deeper understanding of the critical role healthcare innovations play in driving meaningful change, especially now. Consolidation in the lab industry is ramping up with Labcorp and Quest Diagnostics continuing to acquire hospital lab assets. With rapid advancements in tech, it's unclear how long traditional lab structures will remain. Labs closer to the patients/at point-of-care are becoming the norm - just look at what our portfolio company Genalyte, Inc. is doing, as a key example of a disrupter.
