Our #SECSmallBiz team was busy last week engaging with organizations across the country that play an important role in fostering entrepreneurship! In Atlanta, GA we connected with Small Business Development Center professionals at the #2024SBDC annual conference. The Small Business Administration’s SBDCs play a vital role in the small business ecosystem by providing training, advising, and resources to small businesses. In Kansas City, MO we joined the Association of Women’s Business Center at their annual leadership conference to share our educational resources and data on the state of women-owned businesses. #WomenBusinessCenters across the US provide assistance to women starting and growing small businesses. While in Kansas City, we also visited with the teams at the Porter House KC and Keystone Innovation District’s Social Venture Studio, Entrepreneurial Support Organizations working to support economic and social impact in Missouri. Staff in the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis recently published an analysis on custom tags used in eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) filings submitted in Forms 20-F, 20-F/A, 40-F and 40-F/A using International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as issued by the International Accounting Standards Board for fiscal years 2021 through 2023.
