Your open-source project is growing, but without sign-ups, how do you know who’s using it? Prisma makes database interactions easier for developers, with 8M+ monthly downloads and a thriving community of 375,000 active users. But like many open-source projects, Prisma is free to use without sign-ups—meaning it's hard to know who’s actually using the product and how. Nitin Gupta, COO at Prisma, shared, “We were interested in engagement from companies. And now, through Scarf's reports, we know that a very large percentage of the Global Fortune 2000 companies are engaged with our product.” Want to know how they did it? One thing about Scarf I haven't talked too much about publicly is the terrific set of advisors we have around us. I will follow up with more of that, but today I am excited to share that Amanda Brock has joined us as an advisor. Those of you who know Amanda will not be surprised by this decision. For those that don't - Amanda brings a wealth of experience in open source to help guide Scarf's strategic partnership initiatives across the many ecosystems in the broader open source community - from her time as GC at Canonical and the board of the OSI, to her current roles as CEO of OpenUK and advising many other open source focused organizations. Stay tuned for some big moves!
