For open source projects, adoption is valuable, but knowing your adopters is what drives commercial growth. ARMO, creators of Kubescape, a leading #Kubernetes security tool, knows this all too well. With over 10,000 GitHub stars and widespread adoption across 100,000 clusters, Kubescape had become a go-to solution for Kubernetes security. But as ARMO’s community grew, they faced a challenge: seeing who was using Kubescape and understanding their journey from open source user to potential customer. That’s where Scarf came in. Using Scarf, ARMO could finally gain insight into the companies adopting Kubescape. This visibility transformed their strategy, helping them pinpoint high-intent users, prioritize leads, and reach out to companies already engaged with their project. “We installed Scarf in Kubescape and immediately got visibility into which companies were using it and how frequently. This was a huge ‘aha’ moment for us,” shared Jonathan Kaftzan, VP of Marketing and Business Development at ARMO. By reconnecting with their user base, ARMO not only grew their pipeline but also refined their marketing and sales efforts to better serve their community. Despite our confidence, “best” still isn’t perfect. We understand that IP addresses can change assignment or be shared by multiple users or companies. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our newest feature: Match Feedback. With Match Feedback, you have the power to adjust company matches directly. You can remove companies that shouldn't appear or correct misattributed downloads or views. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/d2EMJmjG
