December 18, 2022 - A Dat That Shockled the Condominium Industry The tragic shooting incident at Bellaria Condominiums (Bellaria), in Vaughan changed the public psyche in Ontario. Since the Bellaria shooting GTA condominium communities have been subjected to a noticeable increase in workplace harassment against property managers, board members, and onsite personnel. Recent online postings by frustrated property managers continue to tell of stories of harassment, intimidation, and abuse incidents that rarely get better with time if left ignored. Riskboss routinely responds to requests for information on what prudent measures should be taken to protect property managers, board members, and other site personnel. In response to these inquiries, Riskboss created a White Paper on best practices and preventative measures that when implemented, will make condominium communities more resilient against unwanted attention and aggression, and better prepare communities to deal with emergencies when such incidents occur.
