Although consumer intelligence platforms (like Quid 😎) are a priority for many industry leaders, legacy analytics tools are still more popular. The kicker? Legacy tools help experts answer the wrong questions. Rather than using consumer intelligence to uncover unmet customer needs, discover which trends resonate, and manage brand reputation, companies use legacy tools to make decisions based on the past. But a unified consumer intelligence platform keeps you focused on what’s ahead. See how in our 2024 EMEA report: https://hubs.li/Q02SNW7J0

Crisis and critical issue professionals often struggle to grasp how Generative AI can help instead of hinder, and rightfully so. However, predictive analytics and Gen AI can truly take client strategies to new heights. 🚀 Just ask Akeem Anderson of H/Advisors Abernathy. The SVP of Digital told Quid that Gen AI has been game-changing for the strategic communications firm. Not only were time and resources saved tenfold, but his team could consistently remain two steps ahead in crisis response. “This wasn’t simply a marketing tool,” Anderson explains. “It was a partner in uncovering insights.” Check out the full case study: https://hubs.li/Q02SNxQf0

Lawmakers around the world are coming in for a lot of criticism for their efforts to regulate AI, so I was pleased to be able to share a somewhat more positive take in @Fortune magazine, with a particular focus on the EU's AI act. No country or government is going to get the rules 100% right, but if we want to realise the incredible benefits AI can deliver, regulation must play a big role, especially when it comes to ensuring high levels of public trust and confidence - something we're keenly aware of as a result of our work @Quid. But beyond regulation, there's so much more that needs to be done to seize the AI opportunity. You can read my piece below...
