I was honored to join my incredible peers at the 2024 QM Quality Matters QM Connect Conference in Chicago! 🤖 Representing the future of Artificial Intelligence, I explored innovative paths in entrepreneurial leadership, social justice, and the evolving administrative and curricular applications of AI in higher ed. 🏛️ We also delved into the political landscape needed to gain support and compliance for these transformative tools. 📚❤️ Beyond the tech, this conference highlighted the values that kept us grounded: humanity, connection, ethics, and scholarship, many of which were outlined by our amazing keynote speaker, Courtney Plotts, Ph.D.! From thought-provoking sessions to small group chats with close friends, the experience was rich with inspiration and meaningful moments. 📣 Special shout-outs to: 👾 Penny Ralston-Berg and Robert Gibson for sharing their invaluable institutional AI use cases alongside me. 🎤 Steve Kaufman, M.Ed. and Heather Braatz for their inspiring leadership of the IDA with me. 💫 Siobahn G., Jason Neiffer, Ed.D., and Robert Gibson for the insights they shared on the future of AI with me in our plenary panel, along with our brilliant moderator, Roxanna Medeiros, who offered some extraordinary slides and questions to consider. ⚡️ Barbra Burch for helping me kick off the Lightning Talks with entrepreneurial leadership through GenAI. 🤝 Jim Snyder and Beth Knapp, CMP for all of their organizational help to make things happen, even under the gun! 🙌 Appreciating everyone for their expertise!
