This year, we’ve highlighted the impact of the World Bank’s International Development Association (IDA) — and for good reason. IDA is one of the most effective tools for driving global development. Investing in IDA is a catalyst for growth, partnership, and global stability and security. It is also an investment in the future: 35 countries have moved from IDA recipients to donors, proving that with the right investment, countries can become self-sufficient and support others to do the same. This month, global leaders and partners invested in our collective future by securing a $100 billion replenishment for IDA. Below is a closer look at what that means. ⬇️ #IDA21

But here’s what’s exciting: this month, South Africa takes over the G20 presidency and for the first time ever, the G20 will be hosted in Africa. Watch our video below to learn more about the G20 and why next year's is a big deal.
