🌍 Today, we're announcing the selection of 60 local educational agencies (LEAs) to join the 2024-2025 Energy CLASS program! This initiative empowers school districts with the training and resources to boost energy efficiency, create healthier learning environments, and optimize costs. Beginning in November, energy champions from each LEA will engage in a six-month program that includes training sessions, expert guidance, and a collaborative network of peers. Participants will explore strategic energy management, project development, and funding pathways—critical tools for driving sustainable change. 📊 This cohort serves over 1.7 million students in 2,922 schools across 31 states. With 41% of selected LEAs currently lacking dedicated sustainability personnel, the Energy CLASS program is poised to make a lasting impact on the future of sustainable schools.
