With 2025 just around the corner, we asked our healthcare team to share what’s on the horizon for next year. The trends they’re forecasting: 🧬 The future autoimmune therapy lies in smarter, more targeted T-cell strategies, predicts Tiba Aynechi. ⚡ Neuromodulation therapies will take over as the primary treatment for conditions like chronic migraines and autoimmune diseases, according to Zack Scott. 🧠 Mental health treatments like TMS and ketamine will become more mainstream for treating depression, says Ryan Harris. Head over to our blog to dig deeper into all our 2025 predictions: https://lnkd.in/g7qdXCKi

Curious what’s in store for 2025? Our Growth Equity team may not have the ability to read tea leaves but they do know how to anticipate impactful trends. Here’s what they’re predicting: 💆 Thanks to the rising use of weight loss drugs, we’ll see an increased demand for aesthetics (think: filler, lasers, and plastic surgery to remove loose skin), according to General Partner Sonya Brown. 🏗️ Software adoption in many industrial sectors such as manufacturing, construction, energy, and government tech will boom as companies look to update legacy tech, according to General Partner Ran Ding and Principal Chris S.. Head over to our blog to learn about these and other trends set to take off in 2025: https://lnkd.in/g7qdXCKi

Why did the marketer bring a Lego set to the trade show? To build pipeline, brick by brick! 🧱 Believe it or not, this bad joke is actually a great marketing tactic that worked for Sedai VP of Growth & Product Marketing John Jamie, who shared the outcomes with us during our Growth Marketing Summit. Primary care physicians 🤝 specialists We need closer collaboration between these groups to make value-based care (VBC) work. Many specialists haven’t embraced VBC because there’s not much economic upside. That leaves primary care doctors managing the entire VBC patient journey and taking on undue risk. Solutions that incentivize specialists to embrace VC and catalyze collaboration between them and PCPs will help. Our healthcare team sees big opportunities especially in referral management, care plan coordination, and effective downstream incentive models. 😎 Is your cybersecurity startup cool enough to land a spot on Gartner's Cool Vendor list? Marketing magician Seth Knox lent us his wisdom on how to get the coveted designation, which can be a game changer for startups. Let’s break it down: ☎️ Tell the right analysts why you’re cool: Write down how your solution meets the Cool Vendor selection criteria: uniqueness, real-world business value, and disruptive potential. Then, identify the relevant Gartner analysts and tell them your story. 🏆 Develop champions… Identify the analysts who are most enthusiastic about your company. Once you do, don’t be shy – ask explicitly for a Cool Vendor nomination. ✍️ …and give them plenty of info about your company, revenue, employee count, product, customers, and strategic partnerships, plus the industry trends supporting your approach. 💪 Keep trying: Cool Vendor competition can be intense. If you don’t bag it on the first round, try again. Boost your submission with new info or ask a different analyst to nominate you. We've got cyber on the brain 🧠 today. Cybersecurity founders: if you’re thinking about how to get the most from your relationship with Gartner, you need to start by picking the right category for your company. This choice matters a lot. Both enterprise buyers and investors rely on specific categories’ reports to understand products and make decisions. You may be tempted to demonstrate your innovation by creating a brand new cybersecurity category. Of this approach, former Gartner cybersecurity analyst Dr. Anton Chuvakin simply says: “Don’t!” (Read the blog to find out why.) Luckily, there are other ways to go: 1️⃣ Align with an emerging cybersecurity category on the rise 2️⃣ Position your business as the next generation of an existing category 3️⃣ Advocate to consolidate multiple categories Marketing leader Seth Knox is here to guide you through making the decision: https://lnkd.in/gk4k6SxR
