Thank you Florida Panthers for hosting this wonderful event to explore the incredibly important topics of mental health and suicide prevention in Veteran communities! #VeteranWellness #Military #BehavioralHealth #SuicidePrevention
Honored to moderate an impactful panel discussion at Amerant Bank Arena, sponsored by NeuroFlow and hosted by Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers, bringing together VA staff, Active Duty service members, and military community supporters in South Florida. Joined by Rob Stevenson (EVP, People & Facilities, FL Panthers) and D’Juan Wilcher (Deputy Director, George W Bush Institute Veterans and Military Families Program), we explored the multifaceted nature of Veteran wellbeing and suicide prevention beyond traditional mental health frameworks. Rob shared powerful insights on the critical role of authentic peer support in encouraging Veterans to seek care. D'Juan highlighted innovative initiatives at the Bush Institute, including their Check-In program and vital work expanding economic opportunities for Veterans. Looking ahead, I’m excited about the future enhancements to Behavioral Health Lab (BHL), the leading measurement-based care solution at the VA, and the power of data science to help identify at-risk individuals faster and connect them with appropriate resources at the right time. Thank you to the Panthers organization for championing these crucial conversations and to all stakeholders dedicated to supporting our military community. #VeteranWellness #MilitaryCommunity #FloridaPanthers

Great recap of our webinar on 11/21, exploring how new policies are incentivizing behavioral health measurement, leading to better outcomes and cost savings. Thanks for sharing Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute!
In a webinar co-hosted by NeuroFlow and the Association for Behavioral Health and Wellness, Meadows Institute Chief Policy Officer John Snook highlighted a challenge facing our nation’s approach to mental health care: We wait too long to treat people with mental illnesses, exacerbating symptoms and leading to worse outcomes. Measurement-Based Care (MBC), he said, is part of the solution. By using standardized measurements to track progress over time and inform treatments, MBC enables faster symptom reduction and improved outcomes. Used in tandem with proven integrated care models like collaborative care, MBC is a game-changer for providing care earlier, more efficiently and getting people better. We’re excited to share a new peer-reviewed paper, co-authored with our partner The Villages Health System, LLC, a fully at-risk health system serving Florida retirement communities. The research emphasizes the power of remote behavioral health screenings to surface hidden risk. Building on our recent case study, the paper demonstrates how NeuroFlow’s remote, digital assessments can identify behavioral health needs sooner and surface patients who go undetected when screened in-clinic. Surfacing these “hidden risk” patients is significant because instead of allowing these individuals to escalate, The Villages Health can immediately enroll them in their successful integrated care program – an initiative that has been proven to reduce healthcare costs 39% PMPM. We’re honored to advance this important research alongside The Villages Health so that we can help more people access behavioral health care when they need it most.
