Opening doors to the Finnish job market 🚪🗝️ This month, the fifth edition of the Startup Refugees Mentoring Program was wrapped up with a closing event at our Helsinki office. The 10-week program, organised in collaboration with Tietoevry, brought together mentors and mentees to support refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants in finding employment in the IT sector. Swipe to read three reflections from the mentee and developer Diana S., her Netlight mentor Adeel Shakir, and Startup Refugees CEO Aicha Manai, on the importance of creating networks and safety nets in foreign markets. #netlight #startuprefugees #tech #potentialunleashed

Over 60 women in tech joined us for an evening of connection, learning, and inspiration. Levelling up in Frankfurt 🕹️ Last month, we brought together our Frankfurt-based network of clients and industry experts for a night of knowledge-sharing in honour of Mario, Pac-Man, Tetris and other arcade heroes who know the importance of levelling up. By diving into topics such as Product Strategy, Team Topologies, Data Mesh, ESG Reporting, Transforming Legacy Systems and NIS 2.0, we spent the evening engaging deeply with new ideas that sparked valuable conversations and insights for us to reach the next level – in tech, strategy, and collaboration. #netlight #edgex #frankfurt #potentialunleashed

Safe spaces matter 🫂 Earlier this month, Netlight Amsterdam hosted its first Code Pub event, bringing together 20 women and non-binary individuals in tech for an evening of inspiration, connection, and community. The Code Pub is Netlight’s international network of 5000+ women and other marginalised genders in the tech industry. The night's theme was "Creating Meaningful Connections in Tech,” and it included workshops, talks, and networking opportunities to learn practical tips for leveraging the networking part of tech careers. Thank you to everyone who showed up to Amsterdam’s inaugural Code Pub, and to Netlighters Rebecca Staffas, Roos Janssen, Maxime Evers, Jolein Hallegraeff, Isabella Eldering and Evelien Kunst for organising it.

Startup ambitions meet expert guidance 🧭 During this year’s Accelerator Week in Munich, Netlight consultants offered their hands-on experience to 7 start-ups to tackle their tech, product, and data challenges. Activations included "lunch and learn" sessions, workshops, and a fireside chat with Netlight partner Moritz Tränkner-Tuborgh and Fortino Capital VC Lead Patrick Hermann. The whole shebang ended with a pitch competition, during which all startups presented their fine-tuned products. cleverwatt took the win and earned two additional weeks of Netlight support. Big thanks to our participating startups Certum.ai, databAIse, OmicsDiscoveries, Bevel, AICU, and Alago, and of course Netlighters Yulia Lomakina, Natalia Shohina, Niklas Rieder, and Hannah Gundel for making this a week to remember. #netlight #acceleratorweek #startups #potentialunleashed

Say hello to our new CEO duo 👋 Today a rotation in our CEO duo was announced! Felix Sprick will step out from his role to continue as a partner amongst partners while Anders Thall will be stepping into the position alongside the current co-CEO Katri Junna. The rotation principle is a fundamental feature of Netlight’s CEO duo model. This model challenges the traditional CEO structure, offering richer perspectives, a broader leadership skill set, greater international exposure and an equal sparring partner for those in the role. #netlight #potentialunleashed
