Reflecting on Women Entrepreneurship Day, we emphasize our ongoing commitment to fostering digital and economic inclusion for women across Pakistan. Through our collaboration with UNDP on the WISE Bootcamp, we have empowered 428 women social entrepreneurs across 69 districts to establish 222 social enterprises, aligning with 16 Sustainable Development Goals. This initiative is a testament to our dedication to driving sustainable growth and empowering women to transform their communities. In partnership with UN Women, our Digital Literacy Program continues to break barriers by reaching over 200 rural locations, hosting 50 events, and activating nearly 5,000 female SIM users. By equipping micro-entrepreneurs and underprivileged home-based female workers with essential data and financial literacy skills, this initiative is enabling 10,000 women—despite cultural challenges in areas such as Quetta, Multan, Karachi, Swabi, and Lahore—to integrate technology into their lives and livelihoods. At Jazz, we remain steadfast in our mission to bridge the gender digital divide and create opportunities that drive inclusive progress to improve the lives and livelihoods of women across Pakistan.

Jazz continues to champion the inclusion agenda with unwavering commitment. At WECON 2024: Mumkin Hai!, we partnered with changemakers to spotlight the extraordinary potential of women entrepreneurs in Pakistan, celebrating Women Entrepreneurs Day. This flagship initiative by Change Mechanics showcased the power of collaboration, networking, and innovation in building a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem for women. Our Head of Communications and ESG, Fatima Akhtar, delivered a compelling keynote, reaffirming that investing in women is not just CSR—it’s a strategic business imperative for Jazz as we lead the charge for sustainable growth and inclusion. Additionally, through the Agent-Based Digital Skills Campaign in partnership with GSMA, our Jazz Sales Academy hosted a transformative "Training of Trainers" (ToTs) session. This initiative equipped our salesforce with critical skills to engage first-time mobile internet users and focused on creating pathways for women to excel in our sales team, empowering them to connect with untapped female segments of our audience. Our Head of DEI, Rabia Khattak, also participated as a panelist in an event held by UNDP to have meaningful conversations around the recently launched National Human Development Report (NHDR) 2024 titled "Doing Digital for Development: Access, Adopt, Anticipate, and Accelerate." This event aimed to raise awareness of the report's findings, which highlight the critical need for equitable access to digital technology to enhance Pakistan's human development outcomes.
