Ferrier, together scored a win for our clients, prevailing in the Nassau County Supreme Court on a motion to dismiss against a group of businesses and their owners. #MSF’s Employment Group and Commercial Litigation Group collaborate to provide comprehensive legal support to business owners in litigation, mediation, and arbitration regarding employment-related claims, including misclassification, sexual harassment, and whistleblower retaliation. We welcome yesterday’s ruling. The judge’s decision to dismiss multiple causes of action is very significant and, as the ruling indicated repeatedly, while the law dictates that other claims are allowed to proceed to trial, the evidence supporting them is extremely thin.
