We are a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization helping Ukraine in its fight against Russian invasion.
About us
Leleka Foundation is a US-based non-profit organization that raises charitable funds and implements medical and social support projects in Ukraine. Our organization was founded in December 2014 when several Ukrainians in the United States joined their efforts with several volunteer initiatives in Ukraine (such as Saving Lives in Ukraine and Medicine of the National Home Front) to procure and supply medical and first-aid supplies to paramedics, ambulances, and hospitals. In the time of the massive Russian invasion of Ukraine that started in February 2022, we are focusing on the urgent supply of critical medical supplies and protective gear to Ukraine’s defenders and civilians. For this purpose, we have rebuilt our logistics chain to deliver all medical supplies to Ukraine and distribute them as humanitarian aid to end users throughout Ukraine. Ukrainian word ‘leleka’ translates as ‘stork’ into English. In the Ukrainian culture, the stork symbolizes peace, happiness, home and family. Leleka Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our tax identification number is 47-2377309. Contributions to Leleka Foundation may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by US law.

We are turning 10 in December. Unfortunately, the war is still raging and our mission to help save the lives of Ukraine's defenders is more urgent as ever. While there is little to celebrate, we feel it's important to thank our supporters and partners, and we are doing this with an evening of beautiful music. On December 13th in San Francisco, please join us for a concert by a stellar jazz quarter led by two Ukrainians: Yakiv Tsvietinskyi on the trumpet and Fima Chupakhin on the piano. The band is coming together just for this occasion and this will be a special performance. We are proud to help promote Ukrainian culture and to remind the US audiences that Ukrainians are not just fighters but also artists of the highest order. Please join us!

SPP Development Ukraine is proud to have sponsored the 15th European-Ukrainian Energy Day held on October 29, 2024, in Vienna. This event marked a significant milestone, coinciding with the 15th anniversary of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA). The conference brought together key players from Ukrainian and European governmental and financial organizations, the expert community, and the business sector. Discussions centered on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainable reconstruction, with a focus on balancing rapid and high-quality rebuilding in Ukraine. As a company committed to advancing renewable energy solutions, we were honoured to contribute to dialogues that shape the future of Ukraine's energy landscape. The insights gained and connections made during this event will undoubtedly propel our mission forward. We extend our gratitude to the EUEA for organising this impactful event, to all participants for their valuable contributions, and to our international partners for their valuable and continued support. Special thanks to Nadiia Petruchenko's co-panellists Inna Sovsun, Olha Ponomarchuk, Victoria Pysmenna, Yuri Kubrushko, Dirk Buschle, and Naida Taso. Even from a distance, your support feels close to home. A heartfelt thank you to Vallia Levytsky and Sean from Nadiya's Hands Foundation for their generous $2,500 donation to support Ukrainian field medics. What makes their contribution even more meaningful is the extra effort they made to personally hand it over to a Leleka representative at an event in the U.S. Thanks to their generosity, we’ve already purchased and delivered critical tactical medical supplies to the frontline. Your commitment and solidarity remind us that we’re all in this fight together, with the world standing by our side. Thank you! #StandWithUkraine #HelpUkraine #SupportUkraine

Every day, Russia continues its brutal attacks on peaceful Ukrainian cities, killing civilians and seizing territory. What happens in the occupied cities is unimaginable, but we know from the horrors seen in Bucha and Gostomel that the reality is grim. Our defenders are giving everything to protect lives, and our Ukrainian team is working tirelessly to equip field medics with the tactical medicine they need to save both defenders and civilians. The demand for life-saving items like tourniquets, bandages, and hemostatic gauze is critical and urgent. Please, share the truth about what's happening in Ukraine and help medics save lives — https://lnkd.in/eVDtYipd #StandWithUkraine #HelpUkraine #SupportUkraine

Behind Every Delivery: the Urgent Need for Tactical Medicine Every time our Ukrainian office receives a major shipment of tactical medical supplies from the United States, we’re filled with hope. But that hope is fleeting, as the needs on the frontline are overwhelming. Despite receiving large deliveries, the reality is that they are used up in just a few days. Every day, our team in Ukraine sends out 10-15 fully stocked medical backpacks, litters, anti-drone devices, and other crucial medical supplies to medics who are saving lives under fire. Now, requests are piling up, and we’re doing everything we can to keep the pace. But we need your support to meet the growing demand.
