Let's kick-off the last week of October 2024 with a big debunk of an article on sales that uses junk science and lots of it! https://lnkd.in/eRGf5QnG This is one of the worst articles ever. -- It's relevance to sales was non-specific -- It's use of science for selling had to be a bad joke - genetics - really? -- The basis for the article was a study with a sample size of fewer than 120 -- They used telemarketers for the study -- They sited an irrelevant study on sales compensation -- They were inconsistent - entrepreneurs, salespeople, and marketers were the interchangeable terms used to refer to the same people in their study -- They interviewed 3 CEOs who had nothing to do with the actual study The article was confusing and stupid, but it was really written to push their agenda on adaptive learning.
