This past Saturday, the K2 team had the honor of attending the 125th Army-Navy Game at Northwest Stadium, where the Navy Midshipmen reclaimed the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy! We’re thrilled to introduce Spencer Farrar, the newest member of the K2 ohana, as our Senior Advisor for Technology and M&A Strategy. With his exceptional background, wealth of experience, and passion for excellence, Spencer will be invaluable in driving our technology initiatives forward and enhancing our impact across industries and geographies. Spencer Farrar's Bio: Spencer Farrar brings 30 years of experience in national security, corporate development & strategy, and operations management. He served 30 years of active and reserve duty as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, retiring as a Colonel with operational experience in the Middle East, Sub Saharan Africa, and Asia Pacific. On the corporate front, Spencer has worked for a variety of leading technology, industrials, and financial services firms including Amazon Web Services, United Technologies Corporation (now RTX), Cerberus Capital Management, TD Cowen, and BAE Systems. As the son of a career Foreign Service Officer, Spencer grew up throughout Japan, Germany, Norway, France, and the DC-area. He currently resides in New York City and Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Spencer is an avid marathon/ultra-marathon runner with over 70 races under his belt, including the 165-mile Marathon des Sables race in the Sahara Desert. He is also the U.S. Brand Ambassador for the Comrades Marathon in South Africa and a senior volunteer coordinator for the Ironman World Championships in Kona. Spencer has an undergraduate degree in International Affairs from Lafayette College and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. Last week, the K2 team had the incredible opportunity to visit and tour Naval Air Station Pax River. It was a fascinating experience to see the work being done firsthand, and gain a deeper understanding of the innovative technologies and operations shaping the future.
