The development involved a five-month beta test with legal teams from companies like Ocrolus and Signifyd and law firms like Gunderson Dettmer. Katelyn Canning from Ocrolus said Jurist saved hours in the document review process, praising its intuitive interface and ability to select suitable AI models for tasks. Lawyers can use Jurist to streamline contract drafting and editing, allowing for efficient document management. One significant feature of Jurist is its transparency, allowing users to see its decision-making process with citations, as explained by Feaster. The AI assistant has shown productivity improvements, reducing tasks that took hours or days down to minutes. Ironclad President Jeremy Smith stated Jurist is released as a standalone product to benefit the entire legal community, aiming to make a significant impact on the legal field.
